Job Description
@ Provide service to customers, calculate and check storage charges, heavy cargo surcharges, transport and incoterms.
@ Source and select the appropriate shipping lines and forwarders.
@ Nagotiate freight rate and terms & conditions to achieve competitive freight cost.
@ Liaise with 3rd party logistics (3PL) for shipment arrangement for all inbound and outbound shipments.
@ To take charge and co-ordinate inbound/outbound operations.
@ Handle import/export documentations.
@ Monitor inbound/outbound shipment, prepare documents such as proforma invoices,manifest, permits etc.
@ Follow up delivery / pickup instruction from transport planner / manager.
@ Work closely and co-ordinate with department reps in tracking and monitoring end to end job requirements.
